Best Spook Houses
A friend and I are heading out this evening to Pontiac to walk through Erebus. Erebus is the world's largest haunted house by Guinness Book World Records. It is an old hospital asylum converted into a 4 story haunted house. They charge $23 a person and $4 to park. The two of us plan to head out early in hopes to get the free t-shirt offer. I will post a review when I get back.
Feel free to tell us about your local spook houses and experiences. But please no urban ledgends or fish stories about the $100 haunted house that gives your money back if you make it all the way through. Because that is a myth I have heard ALL my life... personally I am sick and tired of people making crap up and sending it all over the internet. Erebus is 100% real and you can see and read more here --> Erebus ---Update--- I made it back alive and got a free T-Shirt. Maybe I will model it for you some time. But to review this spook house. Definitely worth the price of admission! Some girls was screaming pretty loud in there. They had a lot of scares around every corner. I even briefly lost contact with my friend. They put a lot of work in the make up and special effects. I am still trying to figure out the bottomless pit illusion. They had us go up stairs and down ramps and elevators so often it was hard to say what floor you are on. Aliens, soldiers, scientists, and monsters were everywhere! We have Spooky World in Boston, the cool part is it is located inside Fenway Park.
